I've always been fascinated with photography. When I was young, I used to sneak into my brother's room when he was not around just to play with his Minolta 35mm camera. I bought my first serious camera - a Minolta SLR by scraping every penny leftover from my meagre college allowance. Digital SLRs did not even exist back then, but I was happily clicking with my humble Minolta, experimenting with aperture, exposure, depth of field and waiting anxiously to see the results on photo prints. Advancement in technology has certainly made photography more accessible, and perhaps even easier, if I may add. Whilst I still tinkle with my Minolta occasionally, I became a digital-SLR convert just 5 years ago and now shoot with my Canon 5D Mark II (the second love of my life!).
A picture paints a thousand words. Being able to capture nature's breathtaking landscapes, life's special moments, the wonderful expressions and freezing it to a moment in time that's so priceless is what I'm after every single shot. It's my pride and joy to share those captivating snapshots with you and my hope is that these pictures will inspire all of us to view our world - our everyday in a special light.
